Sophie

I created this illustration in memoriam of my childhood dog, Sophie who went to doggie-Heaven last year.

Mock-Travelocity poster

For this assignment we were given the job of creating a layout for Travelocity and a featured travel destination of our choice. As you can see, I went with Paris. The tag line I came up with is: "You Are Here." The idea was a multi-destination campaign using the orange star in the Travelocity logo to highlight a popular tourist destination in that city where one would visit. (i.e. the Eiffel Tower.) The color palette would be one unique to that destination, hence the red, blue and white taken from the French flag. Images from city make up the letters in PARIS.

Highlite Photography brochure

This is a three-panel brochure that I designed for an actual client! It is promoting Highlite Photography's Senior Pictures and Packages.

Salt Lake Tattoo Convention

As an assignment, I got to create promotional material for any event of my choice. I picked the 5th annual Salt Lake Tattoo Convention. I created a logo, poster, flyer and magazine advertisement. The catchphrase I came up with was "Have you heard the BUZZ?" The focal point of the design is a tattooed arm with it's hand raised (answering back Yes, I've heard the buzz... with the five fingers representing five years of the convention... get it?!)

I went away from traditional tattoo design and it's familiar red & black tones, cursive fonts and skulls. I wanted a clean and modern, but still edgy look for my design campaign.

Gwyn & Becks

I did a couple portraits of Gwyneth Paltrow and David Beckham. They are some of the first projects I worked on in school.

Halloween Posters

I designed posters for both my work and school Halloween parties. My inspiration was the little monsters that I saw at the Dollar $tore. (You never know where you'll be inspired!)

Sundance Film Festival Ticket

I love the designers that create for the Sundance Film Festival. They do great work and are very inspiring. Here's my creation for SFF 2009's ticket design.

Geico Ad

This mock advertisement was created for Geico's new (and totally fictitious) Supernatural Insurance Coverage.

Self Portrait

Mirror, mirror on the wall... This took nearly eight hours to create in Illustrator.

Magazine Covers

Six magazine cover designs featuring a few of the Elements and Principles of Design: Balance, Unity, Texture, Motion, Focal Point and Color.
